Dear Visitors,

The MNGHA welcomes you to visit and support your loved ones during their care in the hospital. However, to enable us to provide the best care to your loved ones, kindly abide by the following guidelines:

General Rules

Duration of Visits: Visits are limited to fifteen (15) minutes out of consideration to others waiting to see the same patient. Typically, visits must not exceed thirty (30) minutes except for close relatives when extended visits are not medically detrimental to the patient.

Access to intensive care units (ICUs): is limited to a maximum of four (4) relatives.

Labor and Delivery: are opened to visitors for twenty-four (24) hours, and the visit must be for one (1) person only at a time or at the discretion of the Charge Midwife/Nurse.

Neonatal ICU and Intermediate Care Nursery: allow only the mother for breastfeeding openly to twenty-four (24) hours a day with a gate pass.

Visitors under the age of twelve (12) years are not allowed to visit patients, except under the following conditions:

  • Children of any age with a special Gate Pass issued by Social Services can visit a patient during visiting hours.
  • The nurse-on-duty retains the prerogative to refuse visitation by any child who, in their judgment, appears to have an upper respiratory infection or any apparent infectious condition
