Ob/Gyn is one of the busiest departments in the whole hospital with increasing patient load. A 39-bed department including Labour Room, OR, Ambulatory Care and in-patient with 6 CTG machines. We are providing comprehensive, high quality, care for National Guard patients and for patients referred to us. Additionally, the department has created trainings for interns and residents in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Objectives

To provide the highest quality of services to our patients with continuous evaluation of the results that are assessed and compared to the needs of our patients. This goal will be achieved by applying clinical care based on latest research and evidence based medicine, having a strong residency and teaching program that can lead to specialized departmental sub-specialities that will reflect on our patients’ care.

Clinical care out come

  • The department of Ob/Gyn had an unaffected performance in the year 2020 in spite of the Covid 19 pandemic.

  • Progressive increase in the number of patients due to the excellent performance of the department throughout the years.
