The unit provides care for mixed-gender Adults aged 14 and above. It caters to outpatient day cases (pre and post-operatively). Primary patient diagnoses are Maxillofacial and Dental, General Surgery, Urology, and Ophthalmology Procedures.​

Unit Description: Dental Day Care – Dental Procedures.
Patient Population:
Adult - Age 14 and above.
Mixed gender.
Hours of Operation: 0700-1930H, 5 days / week.
No of Beds: 6 beds.
Occupancy Rate: 100%
Staff Categories:
  • Nurse Manager.
  • Clinical Resource Nurse.
  • Registered Nurses.

Primary Diagnosis

  • Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Dental Surgery.
  • Urology surgery.
  • Minor General surgery.

Primary Procedures

Care of patients who had received:
  • Pre and Post-operative management.
  • IV insertion and infusion.
  • Oral / intravenous / intramuscular medications and administration.
  • Intra procedure monitoring for Pain Management, Moderate Sedation patients.
