An infusion unit that provides care for patients requiring intravenous antibiotics and infusion therapy post discharge from inpatient units across specialties.​

Unit Description: MDU – Adult Day Surgery Services.
Patient Population: Adult Mixed gender.
Hours of Operation: 24 hours per day / 7 days per week.
No of Beds: 8 bedded ward
Occupancy Rate: 100%

  • Nurse Coordinator.
  • Registered Nurses.
  • Patient Care Technician.

Primary Diagnosis

  • Immunoglobulin infusion for Immune Deficiency Patients.
  • Rheumatology.
  • Neurology.
  • Nephrology.
  • Obstetric Gynecology.
  • Dermatology.

Primary Procedures

  • Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG).
  • Infliximab.
  • Rituximab.
  • Tocilizumab.
  • Cyclophosphamide.
  • Belimumab.
  • Iron Infusion.
  • Antibiotic.
  • Methylprednisolone.
  • Rapragal enzyme.
