To be a unique, innovative, data-driven pediatric service that gives children the best possible care, no matter what.

Vision of Department of Pediatrics

To give all children and their families easy access to high-quality care through world-class clinical services, collaborative research, and new educational programs.

Objectives of Department of Pediatrics

  • Support the use of tools for early development in community pediatrics.
  • Better care for children through clinical excellence and collaboration that improve practice (intra and interdisciplinary initiatives).
  • Optimize system efficiency to ensure all children can get and keep health services that meet their growing needs.
  • Improve patient satisfaction by giving care as close to home as possible.
  • Help the health care system become more digital.

  • Prepare the next generation of pediatric leaders in clinical care, research, quality education, and education by developing new programs that meet global needs.

  • Encourage research and discovery by giving people access to mentors, making it easier to get money, and finding opportunities to collaborate on projects locally and internationally.
