Advanced Cardiac Imaging (ACI): Cardiac PET, SPECT, Stress

The Advanced Cardiac Imaging division was established in 2006 as the only and leading imaging center in the region with world-class expertise in all the fields of cardiac imaging - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT); Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Stress Testing (Treadmill, Dobutamine, and Nuclear).

Patient Population: Adult and pediatric mixed gender

Hours of Operation: 0700 – 1700 (Sun to Thurs). This clinic is closed during religious holidays

Occupancy Rate: 180 Patients per month

Staff Categories: Nurse Manager, Clinical Resource Nurse, Nurse Coordinator, Staff Nurse I & II, Patient Care Technician.

Primary Diagnosis:

  • Adult and Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease

  • Heart Failure

  • Coronary Artery Disease

  • Peripheral Vascular Disease

  • Neurology

  • Pre-op clearance

Primary Procedures:

  • Comprehensive Cardiovascular Assessment

  • Pharmaceutical Stress Technetium (Persantin, Dobutamine and Regadenoson)

  • Rb82 Perfusion Studies

  • Cardiac Viability 18 FDG

  • Defibrillation/Cardioversion

  • Infection Scan/ Sarcoidosis
